This TOOL calculates steady-state flow conditions, uniform depth, energy, Froude number, critical depth, conjugate depth, etc. Uses Manning number to set surface rugosity, for 20 different geometrical sections. It also provide adimensional curves for some parameter varying the water depth.
If the maximum height of the section is introduced in the flow depth, the results are valid for pressurized waterways; however, the friction considered is based on Manning's coefficient, which is more suitable for free-surface flow.
This tool is a PHP version (firstly released in January 2018), so it only need a web browse, it executes the calculations in the web server. It originally was called "HIDRO.EXE" and developed by Ángel Gamo Torres in FORTRAN and C in the late 80's.
Due to its enduring usefulness, I felt it worthwhile to adapt it for the internet world, incorporating some minor improvements.
